Changing the Game of Consumption

A megagame about sustainable consumption.

A megagame in which players experience how consumption, sustainability, responsibility and social systems are connected.

Choose between an implementation package where the school builds its own capacity and a facilitation package where Enodios comes to you with a control team.

Schools, companies and organisations

A game experience that becomes learning.

Changing the Game of Consumption lets players work with complex issues through roles, decisions, collaboration and consequences. Det gör konsumtion, hållbarhet och samhällsansvar till något spelarena får undersöka i handling, inte bara läsa om.

The Enodios format is designed for schools that want to use the game in a safe, thoughtful and pedagogically grounded way.

Works in school settings

Designed for players aged 16 and up. Works best when older and younger players collaborate.

Full day

Can be run as a larger teaching module or theme day.

Up to 40 players – per game

From 21 players and up – if you are more than 40, we run several simultaneous games.

From West Sweden to the whole country

The company is based in Borås, but runs games throughout Sweden – and Northern Europe!

Implementation method

How the school builds confidence step by step.

See a game in practice

Staff get a concrete picture of how the game works and what players experience during the game.

Presentation at the school

Enodios meets the principal, work team and relevant colleagues and goes through the format and conditions.

Joint planning

We plan sessions, student groups, responsibilities and how the game will be acquired.

Training day

Staff are prepared for roles, game elements and how the game can be linked to teaching.

First game session

Enodios runs the game together with school staff and conducts a debrief afterwards.

Digital supervision

During four digital sessions, one or more staff members are further trained to lead the game in the role of overall game control.

Workshop to connect the game to teaching

Teachers plan preparation, follow-up, reflection and links to course content.

Second game session

The school runs the game itself with Enodios as support and supervisor.

Why megagame?

Players experience a complex system.

A megagame creates a situation in which players need to understand different actors’ perspectives, make decisions with limited information and see how choices affect other parts of the system.

This makes the game particularly useful for issues where learning needs to include facts, values, collaboration and consequential thinking.
